The Faculty of System Informatics was newly established in April 2025, growing out of the former Department of Computer Science and Systems Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.
The Faculty of System Informatics aims to develop talents who are equipped with broad knowledge and interdisciplinary perspectives, especially those who have knowledge and understanding of the current situation of the world and the problems it faces and are capable of applying and combining knowledge and technologies from each specialized area of system informatics in a holistic manner to contribute to solving societal issues and co-creating new value.
Upon completion of the undergraduate program, students receive a Bachelor of System Informatics.
The Faculty of System Informatics has one department (Department of System Informatics) with 21 divisions and 5 collaborative divisions.
